Shaping tomorrow: Supporting the clean energy transition through spatial planning

Municipalities are key players in the clean energy transition, as planning authorities and infrastructure providers and for citizen participation. This workshop explores how municipalities can use integrated spatial and energy planning to positively shape their energy and climate future. Drawing on the PLENTY-Life project, experts and municipal actors will showcase how energy-efficient spatial and settlement structures can be created and maintained. The session features short keynotes followed by a panel discussion, and will be supported by interactive tools (e.g. Slido) to encourage exchanges, the sharing of experiences and the active engagement of participants.
