- Ali is a senior scientist at AIT’s Centre for Energy with a background in nuclear and energy engineering from KIT. He has worked for IAEA, FZJ, KIT, and UNDP and advised over 15 countries on energy policy. At AIT, he coordinates the urban energy systems analysis group, focusing on spatio-temporal energy modeling, decarbonization strategies, and Positive Energy Districts. He has managed multiple research projects and authored over 80 scientific publications.
